After much debate and bargaining, Hartford Brown Broadcloth III introduces a bill to adjust the reading list.
Bill Title: ABS House Bill 001
Bill detail: Adjustments to the reading list
- Both volumes of Kotkin's, Stalin must be purchased immediately
- Volumes one and two of Richard Evans' Third Reich will be read when ABS reads FDR biography in spring of 2019
- All three volumes of Caro's, LBJ will be read after the reading of Oxford History's, Grand Expectation in 2019 or 2025
- Votes:
- Hartford - Aye
- Chester - Aye
- Cornelius - Aye
- Parkington - Approval in absentia
- Peabody - Nay
Caro's LBJ is 4 volumes, not 3. I've read them, and I vote Nay on the third reich book.
ReplyDeleteYour vote has been recorded. Hartford Brown Broadcloth III is using the Caro volumes as negotiation bait for including other biographies of dictators. A new book bill may be in the making. In the meantime, the ABS hopes your Kotkin biographies have been ordered.
